The Walks

Click to look at the Walk picture galleryCrieff is situated in the heart of Strathearn, Perthshire on the very edge of the Highlands. An enticing mix of rivers, waterfalls, mountains and lochs makes this an ideal area for walking.
The landscape offers everything from leisurely strolls along picturesque tree-lined rivers to more challenging walks in impressive mountain scenery. At the time of our Language course in August, the heather is in full bloom and turns much of the countryside purple.

We will be putting on our walking boots after lunch to explore the beautiful countryside. After a morning’s work indoors this is the perfect way to relax and practise your English.
Our local, experienced walking guide will pick you up around 2 o’clock. Some walks start straight from the town centre, for others we have to drive a short distance in our minibus.

To do the walks you will need average fitness, a good pair of walking boots, rucksack and waterproof jacket.

Let yourself be inspired by looking at the picture gallery and the walk descriptions.

Christine is Martin’s mother, loves walking and has taught English for many years. Together they will lead the walks in the afternoon..
